Our Academy

The Al Assaba Sports Academy is designed to give young footballers a professional and
supportive environment in which they can develop both on and off the pitch.
Our academy focuses on players from the early stages of their football journey through to
advanced youth development. We work to identify individual potential and provide players with
the training, discipline, competition and guidance needed to continue progressing.

Our development philosophy is simple:

opportunities.

Our U23 Team

Our U23 team is an important part of the Al Assaba Sports development pathway.
The team gives talented young players the opportunity to move from academy football into a
more competitive environment, playing against other teams and gaining experience that cannot
be achieved through training alone.
Through our participation in DOFA, players are exposed to organized competition, match
situations, teamwork, tactical development and the demands of competitive football.

DOFA itself is designed to support youth development, improve player performance, encourage
competition between academies and create opportunities for promising players to be identified.
